Amsterdam, 1 March 2026 (PDN) — Less than 24 hours after the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, a large crowd from the Persian-Dutch community gathered in Dam Square to celebrate the death of the 86-year-old dictator in their homeland.
Following the massive demonstrations in Iran against the Islamic regime, the Persian-Dutch community organised two demonstrations in The Hague over the weekend. The majority of protesters supported Prince Reza Pahlavi as the leader of the current movement in their homeland. The community feels deeply frustrated, particularly after reports revealed that
