The present volume is the first-ever publication of any scores by the Persian composer Samin Baghcheban (1925–2008). It contains four songs that Baghcheban wrote in the 1950s and which his wife Evlin performed for the first time in her recitals.
The pieces have been selected and introduced by Kaveh Baghcheban and Pejman Akbarzadeh.
March 2018 marks the 10th anniversary of Samin Baghcheban’s death in exile. Persian Dutch Network is honored to present this collection on this occasion.
