Amsterdam Sinfonietta voert Perzische composities uit | کنسرت مهسا وحدت و آمستردام سینفونیتا
Van 10 tot 15 november presenteert Amsterdam Sinfonietta samen met de zangeres Mahsa Vahdat het programma “A thousand birds will chant your song”. Met haar prachtige stem zal Masha Vahdat niet alleen tijdloze Perzische poëzie zingen van Rumi en Hafez, maar ook de wereld- beroemde aria Dido’s Lament When I’m Laid in Earth van Henry Purcell, die speciaal voor haar in het Perzisch werd vertaald.
