PDN – Deze lezingendag is gewijd aan de Nederlandse zakenman en verzamelaar Albert Hotz (1855 – 1930) en zijn culturele erfenis.
Albert Hotz bekleedde tussen 1873 en 1903 een vooraanstaande positie in de handelsbetrekkingen tussen Nederland en Perzië [Iran].

A day devoted to Dutch entrepeneur Albert Hotz (1855-1930), active in Qajar Persia between 1873 and 1903, and his cultural legacy. Organised by the International Qajar Studies Association in collaboration with the Rijksmuseum voor Oudheden at the occasion of the exhibition ‘Handelswaar en Souvenirs' (Islamic Art from the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam in the National Museum of Antiquities, Leiden) and the 11th international IQSA conference Princes and Courtiers.

در موزه ملی باستان شناسی هلند در لیدن، کتاب نفیسی از عکس‌های تاریخی ایران در دوره قاجاریه رونمایی می‌شود. به همین بهانه یک همایش با حضور پژوهشگران و استادان دانشگاه در موزه برگزار می‌شود. این برنامه به زبان انگلیسی، شنبه، چهارم ژوئن، از ساعت ۹:۴۵ دقیقه بامداد (برای ثبت نام) تا ساعت ۵ بعداز ظهر در جریان خواهد بود. عکس‌ها اثر آلبرت هوتز ، عکاس هلندی است که در زمان قاجار در ایران به سر می‌برده است
