PDN – The website of “Persian Dutch Network” (www.persiandutch.com) is blocked by the Iranian authorities. Since last week PDN has received several e-mails from various cities in Iran indicating internet users are not able to visit the website.
The website of “Persian Dutch Network” is mostly focused on the issues related to Persian-Dutch community so Iranian authorities' decision to block that is quite surprising. It seems it is a reaction to the coverage of demonstrations against Iran's government in the Netherlands. More than 35,000 Persians live in the Netherlands and they have mostly moved to this country because of social and political restrictions in Persia (Iran).
According to Bahareh Ardani, PDN social media manager, “the website's visitors from Iran have been reduced since last week but there are still many people who visit the pages from Iranian cities through proxy websites”.
Iran is considered as one of the “Internet Enemies” in the world by “Reporters Without Borders” and 50% of world popular websites such as Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, CNN, BBC, etc. have been blocked by the Iranian authorities.

فیلتر شدن سایت «شبکه ایرانیان هلند» در ایران
تارنمای «شبکه ایرانیان هلند» توسط مقام‌های ایرانی فیلتر شده است. شبکه از هفته گذشته ایمیل‌هایی از ایران دریافت کرده مبنی بر اینکه کاربران اینترنتی امکان بازدید از سایت را ندارند. کاربران پس از تایپ نشانی تارنمای شبکه، با صفحه‌ای مواجه شده‌اند که روی آن نوشته شده: دسترسی به تارنمای فراخوانده شده امکان‌پذیر نمی‌باشد.ا
تارنمای «شبکه ایرانیان هلند» عموما روی مسایل جامعه ایرانی در هلند متمرکز است و به همین خاطر، تصمیم مقام‌های ایرانی برای فیلترکردن آن عجیب به نظر می‌رسد. شبکه احتمال می‌دهد که پوشش همایش‌ها و راهپیمایی‌های ایرانیان هلند در اعتراض به شرایط موجود در ایران، دلیل فیلتر کردن این سایت در ایران باشد.اتعداد بازدید کنندگان سایت «شبکه ایرانیان هلند» از ایران کاهش یافته ولی همچنان بسیاری از کاربران ایرانی با کمک فیلترشکن از صفحه‌های گوناگون تارنما بازدید می‌کنند.ا
ایران از سوی سازمان «گزارشگران بدون مرز» به عنوان یکی از دشمنان اینترنت در دنیا نام گرفته است. بیش از پنجاه درصد از سایت‌های پُر بیننده مانند یوتیوب، فیس‌بوک، توییتر، سی.اِن.اِن، بی.بی.سی و … در ایران فیلتر هستند. این موضوع دربرگیرنده تارنمای بسیاری از رسانه‌های پارسی‌زبان که در خارج از ایران فعالیت دارند نیز می‌شود.ا

Persian Dutch Network's website geblokkeerd in Iran
PDN – De website van ‘Persian Dutch Network' is geblokkeerd door de Iraanse autoriteiten. Sinds vorige week ontving PDN vele e-mails uit verschillende steden in Iran die aangeven dat de toegang tot de website niet meer mogelijk is.
De website van ‘Persian Dutch Network' is voornamelijk gericht op passende thema's van de Perzische-Nederlandse gemeenschap dus de beslissing van Iraanse autoriteiten om de website te blokkeren komt als een verassing. Het lijkt er op dat dit een tegenreactie is op het verslag doen van de demonstraties tegen de Iraanse regering in Nederland. Meer dan 35.000 Perzen (Iraniërs ) wonen in Nederland en velen van hen zijn verhuist naar Nederland door de sociale en politieke opgelegde beperkingen in Perzië.
Volgens Bahareh Ardani, de social media manager van PDN, “het aantal van de PDN bezoekers uit Iran is aanzienlijk gedaald sinds vorige week maar er zijn nog vele bezoekers uit Iraanse steden die via proxy websites de website bezoeken”.
Iran staat wereldwijd bekend als “Internet Bestrijder” door ‘Verslaggevers zonder Grenzen‘ en 50% van ‘s werelds populaire websites zoals Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, CNN, BBC etc. zijn verbannen in Iran.
